With "The Roundup: Punishment" accounting for 94.3 percent of total box office revenues on April 27 and screening 82 percent of total screenings nationwide, its dominance in theaters is evident.

The absence of other notable blockbusters has intensified the focus on "The Roundup: Punishment," with theaters emphasizing the need to meet audience demand. However, some express frustration over the limited availability of screens for other films.

Hwang Jae-hyun, responsible for strategic support at CGV, highlighted that screen allocations are managed based on audience demand and characterized the concentration on "The Roundup: Punishment" as temporary.
