Agency GF Entertainment announced on Tuesday that Bang Yedam is set to release a digital single on April 2. Described as a fresh and rhythmical tune, the upcoming single is positioned as an ideal springtime listen, according to the agency.

Bang Yedam initially debuted as a member of Treasure in 2020 but departed from the group in November 2022, subsequently parting ways with label YG Entertainment. Following a yearlong hiatus, he introduced his solo EP, "Only One," a project for which he assumed the role of producer. In response to inquiries about his decision to go solo, he expressed a desire to cultivate his skills as a producer.

During his hiatus, Bang Yedam contributed to the original soundtrack for the web drama "Branding in Seongsu-dong," marking his first OST work. Additionally, in January, he conducted a fan meetup in Yokohama, Japan, as part of the promotional activities for his debut solo EP.
