JYP Entertainment has revealed that their newest boy band, NEXZ, will debut with their single "Ride the Vibe" on May 20.

Prior to their official debut, the band released a pre-release digital single titled "Miracle" simultaneously in Japan and Korea in December of last year.

A teaser video featuring the seven members of NEXZ—Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki—was uploaded to JYP Entertainment’s social media channels.

All members of NEXZ were winners from the K-pop label’s audition reality show "Nizi Project Season 2," which aired on YouTube and Hulu Japan from July to December of the previous year. So Geon and Hyui will use their current names going forward, departing from their stage names on the show.

The group consists of six Japanese members and one Korean national, So Geon, who was born in Japan.

Each member's introduction is followed by a verb phrase, such as "How to eat" for Yu and "How to sleep deep" for Tomoya. The teaser video concludes with the phrase "How to ride the vibe."

NEXZ marks JYP Entertainment's first boy band debut in six years following Stray Kids. The group's name, NEXZ, meaning "Next Z (Generation)," was conceived by Park Jin-young, the chief creative officer of JYP Entertainment, symbolizing the band's ambition to shape the future of the next generation.
